Letting yourself down

Thoughts are an amazing tool, to your benefit OR NOT…

I’m usually confident about my work and how I manage my career and learning steps. But lately I couldn’t reach my ‘creative self’ and all my production, which is essentially multimedia, is becoming dull and with lack of movement, animation, life…

I imagine that some poets and artists had many times the ‘blank’ and some trigger (by nature, by the goddess or the muse) put them back into track.

Once a good man told me that inspiration came from the Latin SPIRO that means “God-breathed”, “divinely breathed into”.  If you look on the dictionary you will also find:
a) a divine influence or action on a person believed to qualify him or her to receive and communicate sacred revelation
b) the action or power of moving the intellect or emotions
c) the act of influencing or suggesting opinions

Maybe I really need to go out and get inspiration in nature, in movements around me instead of just try to get them out of my head (which is most of the time stearing at one screen and with fingers typing the keyboard).  Also, my lack of confidence and cyclic thoughts about ‘how much I still have to learn’, and ‘I won’t have time or won’t have the skills’ really beat me up before the task is even started… I need positive thinking…

And I know that is just a momentary lack of creativity, but when the fear of not knowing and not producing invades you is really not a good sensation… You feel uncapable, weak, unprofessional.  I hope this can be changed soon and I will prepare myself for that change.

Creativity wishes for all of you!
